As a flower-based extract, hemp is concentrated in a guaranteed amount of these active constituents. 

You may see hemp seed powder or oil used in other products, but hemp seeds contain negligible amounts of the compounds in the hemp plant that are associated with its many health benefits.

Each batch of Cogent Pet Soft Chews is tested for safety before it is packaged. This testing ensures that no harmful levels of bacteria, yeast, or mold are present to make your pup sick. Beyond this, our manufacturing facility follows strict safety measures meeting the same sanitation and handling criteria required for human food production. 

First, always speak with your veterinarian before giving your dog a new supplement or changing its regimen. If any of the ingredients are new to your dog, we recommend starting at the lowest suggested dose and working up based on how your pet responds. 

Cogent Pet’s product labels provide recommended dosing instructions according to the weight of your dog. If you have a small dog, we don’t advise giving more than one chew per day, but you could certainly provide different products on different days. If your dog’s weight is greater than 25 lbs., it is safe to combine the chews to total the suggested dose quantity, if you prefer.
